Brand Ethics - Do They Matter❓

Brand Ethics - Do They Matter❓

When we started Marine Kind Ltd we were trying to solve a problem that had been bothering us for years; as dog owners and people who cares deeply about our planet and oceans, we became increasingly aware of how much plastic there is in the pet industry. So many products are designed to be used, thrown away and replaced, thereby contributing to a much bigger environmental problem.

➡️ Marine Kind's Kelpi Bone was created to challenge that. Our mission is simple: to create pet products that are kinder to pets, people, oceans and the planet whilst proving that sustainable alternatives can be commercially successful.

➡️ Our brand ethics are intrinsically linked to our purpose and set out WHY the Kelpi Bone fits NOW - That's why they matter to us.

💚 In a nutshell:
Today’s pet parents treat their dogs as family; 72% of Gen Z and 65% of millennials say so, and they want products that reflect that love. 73% of Gen Z and 68% of millennials are willing to spend more on sustainable pet products, and over half of all pet owners agree. Yet most chews and toys are still made from plastic and nylon that shed microplastics into the home and the ocean.

✅ Kelpi Bone is the answer: A seaweed dog toy designed to be chewed, made by Marine Kind. We sell to consumers and retailers worldwide, so if you are interested in WHY this and WHY now, please get in touch!
