🐾 How to Use Your Kelpi Bone
Chewing frequency: Offer your dog the Kelpi Bone for 15–20 minutes per session, once or twice daily. This gives them time to enjoy the chew without overdoing it. Always supervise your dog during chew sessions, especially on first use.
Monitoring wear: Check the toy regularly for signs of wear. The Kelpi Bone is designed to soften and flex with use — this is normal and part of what makes it gentle on teeth. If it becomes small enough to swallow whole, replace it with a fresh one from your bundle.
When to replace: Replace the Kelpi Bone when it has reduced to roughly a third of its original size, or if you notice sharp edges or unusual texture changes. The material is seaweed-based and digestible, but always choose a size your dog can chew safely.
🌊 Care & Storage
Cleaning: Rinse under cool or lukewarm running water after each session. Avoid hot water or soaking, which may soften the material more quickly. Skip soaps, detergents and disinfectants; gentle water rinsing is all it needs.
If it gets wet: A little moisture is fine. Pat dry with a clean cloth or leave it to air dry in a well-ventilated spot before storing. Avoid leaving it in standing water for extended periods.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Don't seal it in an airtight container while damp. Store unused Kelpi Bones in their original packaging until needed.

I have two 15 week old puppies and 4 year old cockers. They love these and I can give them with confidence that they won’t ingest shards of plastic. For teething puppies they can chew and chew get rewards of the softness bits to eat after lots of chewing.

I think these bones are an excellent idea. Sadly, my two dogs were not immediately taken with them. I have left the bones available in the hope that they will at some point.

I have to say that the chew bones were enjoyed but and dogs were particularly interested in them. Perhaps an acquired taste. I do like the idea of using seaweed.
